Osage County Votive
Fragrance: Frangipani, Fig, Opium, and more.
What is so special about Osage County? If you have ever been here, you would see it right away. If you have always lived here and have grown accustomed to it, leave for a little while and go somewhere else and then come back. Then you'll see it.
I especially like this graphic I chose to represent Osage County. It looks a bit like Highway 60 West, between Bartlesville and Pawhuska to me. Minus the construction, of course. There has always been something about driving home on that stretch of road on our way home, in the early evening light as the sun is beginning to set. It seems magical, like surely if you were to continue going West on that stretch of road it would lead to something wonderful.
Maybe it's the beautiful hills that makes us wonder what's just over the next one, or the breathtaking views on top of the hills where it seems like you can see forever. Or the green pastures of cattle that seem to go as far as the eye can see. Or the wildflowers on the side of the road that make you feel like an honored guest like the highway is putting on its best for company. Maybe it's the simple fact that this is the road that leads to home for us.
