Driving the Oklahoma backroads is where you will always find what you are looking for, even if you don't know what that is at the time. It's a place where you can be alone, just you and your thoughts. Or it can be where you have an important meeting with God. The backroads have seen tears, joy, and even stupid decisions. But they don't tell. And they don't give you direction. They don't tell you what to do, even though you may wish they would. They're just there to get you where you're going and back again. Nothing is lost that can't be found again.  And they show you as much beauty as they can along the way because they are proud to show off for the occasional visitor passing through.
